AVIS DE DÉCÈS MONIQUE McINTYRE Les familles tessier et McIntyre ont le regret de vous annoncer le décès de Monique, survenu à l’âge de 59 ans. Elle était la fille de feu Roland Tessier et Aurore Payant. Elle laisse dans le deuil son époux Daniel ainsi que ses 3 enfants: Linda (Derek), Wayne (Lisa), Sylvie et ses 4 petits-enfants. Elle laisse aussi 2 frères et 3 soeurs: Hélène (Pat), Marcel (Lynne), Claire (Chris), Jacqueline (Dan) et Denis (Ruth). Elle laisse également plusieurs oncles et tantes, neveux et nièces. Les funérailles auront lieu le samedi 25 août en l’église Ste-Marie, 4831 chemin Innis, Ottawa, à 10h30. L’inhumation aura lieu au cimetière de Sarsfield.

James LAVIGNE
1932-2012 PITTSFIELD James E. LaVigne, 79, formerly of Pittsfield and most recently of Satellite Beach, Fla., passed away July 26, 2012.
Born December 9, 1932 in Pittsfield, the son of Reni and Lillian Demers LaVigne he attended Pittsfield Public Schools.
James worked at Crescent Creamery and then at Pepperidge Farms for many years. While living in Florida he worked at Publix Supermarket.
For many years he wintered in Florida and upon his retirement 10 years ago he moved to Florida. James in his younger years enjoyed camping, snowmobiling and vacations in Wildwood, New Jersey, most recently he enjoyed his visits to Pittsfield to spend time with his family.
James is survived by his children Barbara Bullett and her husband Tracey of Pittsfield, Karen Britten and her husband Michael of Pittsfield, son Edward LaVigne of Pittsfield, grandchildren Jeffrey Belair and his wife Diana of Colo., Heather Belair of Uxbridge, Mass., Rebecca Sadlowski of Hadley, Mass., Nicole Sadlowski of Pittsfield, Mass., Nicholas Belair of Pittsfield, Michael Britten of Pittsfield, two great grandsons Chase Henault and Tucker Belair, a sister Lois Loftus and her husband Richard of Pittsfield, and a sister in law Elizabeth LaVigne of Pittsfield.
James was predeceased by a great grandson Andrew Henault and a brother Robert LaVigne.
FUNERAL NOTICE: A memorial service for Mr. James E. LaVigne will be held Saturday, August 18, 2012 at 11 a.m. at WELLINGTON FUNERAL HOME, with Rev. James Joyce of Sacred Heart Church officiating. There will be an hour of visitation the day of the service starting at 10 a.m. until the start of the service. Donations in his memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association care of the funeral home, 220 East St., Pittsfield, MA 01201.

James est l'arrière petit-fils d'Isidore Tessier dit Lavigne et de Sophie Roture dite Bélisle.
Isidore TESSIER/LAVIGNE, né le 11 avril 1821 à Lachine, sur l'île de Montréal, et mort de pneumonie le 17 juin 1897 à Pittsfield, Massachusetts, est un journalier et un charretier canadien français.
Fils de Pierre Tessier et de Marie-Archange Barbary.
Le 2 mai 1843, il épouse Élisabeth Charbonneau dans la cathédrale Notre-Dame de Montréal. Une fille naît de cette union. Élisabeth Charbonneau décède subitement en 1846. Quelques mois passent, il se remarie avec Sophie Bélisle, le 19 janvier 1847 au même endroit.
Sophie donne 12 enfants à Isidore, tous nés dans l'état de New York.
La famille Lavigne quitte Montréal en 1849, traverse la frontière avec l'état de New York, et s'établit dans le village de Black Brook, comté de Clinton.
En 1885, Isidore et Sophie se trouvent chez leur fils Pierre, à Pittsfield, Massachusetts.

Mr Tacy was a member of the Knights of Columbus and was an active curler».

Thomas Edward LAVINE
Thomas Edward Lavine, lifetime Pueblo resident, late of 307 E. Orman, passed away unexpectedly at his residence. Mr Lavine wa a veteran of the Vietnam War, having served in the U.S. Army, and was a member of BPO Elks No 90. He worked in the rod mill of CF&I Steel Corp. Survivors include his mother, Mrs Lucille (Lavine) Kurtz, and a son, Thomas Ebb Lavine, both of Pueblo. Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. Private graveside service. Evergreen Mausoleum, Colorado Springs. Those who wish may make donations to Cancer Society or a charity of their choice.

James (Jim) Tessier The Villages, FLJames (Jim) Tessier passed away at the age of 81 in The Villages, Florida on July 10. Jim was born and raised in Schenectady, attended Nott Terrace and graduated from Mont Pleasant High School. He was the son of the late George and Ruth Tessier and the husband of his loving wife of 47 years, Joan Horton Tessier, who predeceased him in 1998. Jim lived most of his life in this area and later moved to Florida where he lived for the past 11 years with his beloved companion, Eileen Powers. He was an owner of Tessier Brother's Machine Shop which was founded by his father and uncle in 1908. Jim worked there for most of his life and ended his career working at Fleet Bank in Albany until he retired. Throughout his life, he and his wife, Joan enjoyed many years of recreation at The Great Sacandaga Lake during the summers while skiing in the winter. They belonged to the Schenectady Wintersports Club and loved skiing throughout the U.S.A. and Europe. He also loved visiting Cape Cod and Maine where he spent many summer vacations with his family throughout the years. Jim was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Rotterdam Elks. Jim is survived by his children, Michael Tessier (Gail) and Susan Suhrada both of Rotterdam; his grandchildren, Allison Kelleher (Patrick) of New Jersey and Christopher Suhrada of Virginia; two great-granddaughters, Katelyn and Emily Kelleher; his sister, Mary Joyce (Phil) of Marlton, New Jersey; and several nieces and nephews. There will be a graveside service for family and close friends at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery on August 4, at 10 o'clock.
