Marie Estelle TESSIER (née Rougeau)

Marie E. Tessier LEOMINSTER - Marie E. (Rougeau) Tessier, 88, of Leo-minster, died Monday March 26, 2012 in Life Care Center of Leo-minster. She was born on March 4, 1924, in Chicopee, Massachusetts, was the daughter of Felix and Donalda (Robert) Rougeau. She worked as a cook at the former Woolworth's in Leominster. She was a member of St. Cecilia Parish in Leominster, and the Leominster Senior Center. She is survived by her daughter Denise Tessier and husband Martin Metcalf of Leominster, her two sons Donald Tessier and his wife Irene of Concord, N.H. and Lawrence Tessier and his wife Roxanne of Leominster, a brother Felix Rougeau of Springfield, a sister Bertha Labarre of Chicopee, three grandchildren Jeffery Hakala, Marijah Comesana, and Jillian Pouling, and two great-grandchildren Evan Comesana, and Matteo Comesana. She was predeceased by her husband Lawrence T. Tessier on April 3, 2008. The funeral will be held on Wednesday March 28, 2012, from the Wright-Roy Funeral Home 109 West St Leominster, with a funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. in St. Cecilia Church 168 Mechanic St. Leominster. Burial will be in St. Cecilia Cemetery, Leominster. A calling hour will be held Wednesday morning from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
