Clyde Tessier 1926-2014

 Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at Extendicare Mapleview Nursing Home on Monday, December 8, 2014 nearing his 89th birthday. Beloved husband of Helen Tessier for 61 years. Cherished father of Dianne Behrend (Butch), Elaine Ruschpler (Dennis Rancourt), Denise Foster (Glen), Therese LePage (Mark), Jeanie Chapman (Brian) and Brian Tessier (Shauna). Fun loving, adored grandfather of 18 and great grandfather of 6. Predeceased by his parents Noah and Dona Tessier and his siblings Louise, Walter, Lawrence, Cecile, David and Albert. Clyde will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be welcomed at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Road 705-945-7758) on Thursday, December 11, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. At Clyde’s request a private family service will follow. Memorial donations to the Ontario Finnish Rest Home, Extendicare Mapleview or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
