Leon Paul Tessier, 81, passed away unexpectedly on Monday evening,
March 17, 2014, at the Springfield Hospital in Springfield, Vt.

He graduated from Brigham Academy in Bakersfield, Vt. in 1951,
and attended the University of Vermont for one year
and left school to serve in the United States Army During the Korean War from 1952 to 1955,
after his discharge he returned to the University of Vermont
and graduated with a B.S. in Civil Engineering.

He was employed as a Civil Engineer
with the State of Vermont Agency of Transportation
