Rayburn LAVIGNE (1945-2013)

Hyde Cemetery, North Hero, Grand Isle, Vermont 
Rayburn V. Lavigne, 67, of Williston, died peacefully on Friday, July 12, 2013, with loving family by his side.

«...He was married at the First United Methodist Church in Burlington on Aug. 17, 1968, to Violet "Pinky" (Demar) Lavigne. Ray had a long and dedicated career at the University of Vermont for more than 35 years. He also served on the District 4 Act 250 Board, and was a member on the Board of Directors with ECHO and G.B.I.C. He proudly served his country for the Vermont Army National Guard. Ray was an avid hunter and fisher who loved spending time at the Lavigne's Lodge in South Lincoln. The family also had a camp in Malletts Bay where he enjoyed boating, fishing and family get-togethers. He loved to travel with his wife, family and friends and enjoyed many wonderful vacations to Aruba, Las Vegas, Montreal, New Orleans, and Florida...»
