«At Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee, WA,
after a short illness Ginny Tessier passed away November 3, 2012.
She is survived by her husband, Richard; her son, Stephen (Kathy) and granddaughters, Ashley and Erin; daughter, Lori Aivazian (Peter) and granddaughter, Natalie; and sons, David and Mark.
Ginny graduated from Holy Names High School in Spokane and then attended Seattle University, majoring in Education and graduating in 1958. At Seattle University, she met Richard J. TESSIER and they married on June 14, 1958. They made their home in the Seattle area (Kirkland, WA), where they raised their four children. During this period, Ginny was an Elementary School Art Teacher, owned and operated a picture framing business, and was an active parishioner and volunteer at Saint John Vianney Catholic Church in Kirkland. In 1997, when her husband retired, they moved to Lake Chelan (Manson, WA). Ginny thoroughly enjoyed the activities of lake living. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, art, spending time with family and friends, and traveling (especially the annual trip to Maui, HI). Ginny, along with her husband, was an active parishioner of St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church in Chelan, and was involved in the Women's Guild».
