HOLYOKE - Two Easthampton residents were killed Thursday afternoon in a two-car, head-on collision on Route 202 in Holyoke.
Kathleen A. Tessier, 46, and Martin L. Tessier Jr., 47, were taken to Baystate Medical Center, where they were pronounced dead, according to Holyoke Police Sgt. Arthur Cranshaw.
Their names were released today.
Cranshaw said the Tessiers, of 15 Lawson Drive, were traveling east on Route 202 in a 2002 Chevrolet Malibu at around 4:30 p.m. between Ashley Pond and McLean Reservoir, west of Homestead Avenue.
They were struck head-on by a car driven by Andrea Waldo, 23, of 25 Russell Road in Huntington. Waldo was driving a 1994 Ford Explorer and crossed into the eastbound lane, according to police.
She was listed in fair condition today at Baystate, police said.
