Gloria TESSIER

Gloria A. LeBoeuf, 76, of Windham, died on June 22 , 2009, in her home after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

She was born in St. Zachary, Province of Quebec, Canada, and was the daughter of the late Sylvio and Florida Tessier.  Gloria grew up in Lawrence, MA.  She was a graduate of Sacred Heart Grammar School and Sacred Heart High School.

An amazingly creative individual, Gloria owned her own business, Formal Fashions Bridal Salon, in Lawrence for 16 years.  She designed and created custom gowns and dresses for weddings, proms, and beauty pageants.

A dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great- grandmother, family always came first for her.  The ever-present matriarch of the family, she could be found at every christening, wedding, holiday, graduation, birthday, concert, play or recital any of her children, grandchildren, or great-grandchildren had.  She will be greatly missed, but her spirit will remain forever in our hearts.

Gloria leaves her beloved husband of 57 years, J. Raymond R. LeBoeuf; three sons, Allen LeBoeuf and his wife Elaine (Schevis) of Windham, Ronald LeBoeuf and his wife Susan (Kennedy) of Merrimack, and Mark LeBoeuf and his wife Denise (Midgley) of Windham; a daughter, Diane DiPersio and her husband Carlo of Windham; nine grandchildren whom she loved greatly, Matthew, Cheryl, Lori, Julie, Kristen, Cynthia, Christopher, Adam and Jillian, three great-grandchildren Kayla, Gabe and Haley, and her life-long friend Claire Desjardin.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on June 25 at St. Mark's Catholic Church in Londonderry.  Contributions in her memory may be made to the Hirshberg Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, 2990 South Sepulveda Boulevard, Suite 300C, Los Angeles, CA 90064, www.pancreatic.org, or to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718, www.cancer.org.
