Robert A. Tessier, 89, of Madison, N.H., died June 25, 2022, at his home. He was born in Salem, Mass., the son of Allard and Irene (Santerre) Tessier.
He was employed by Varian Systems in Beverly, Mass., for 35 years and also as a U.S. Postal Carrier in Madison for several years.
He was an active member of Our Lady of the Mountains Church. A member of the Knights of Columbus Council No. 7575 and Assembly 2318, a past Grand Knight, financial secretary and treasurer.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years Rita (Sigman) Tessier; and father of four children, Christine Tessier Hobbs, Paul Tessier and predeceased by Peter Tessier and Patricia Tessier Quint. He was the grandfather of 10 children and great-grandfather of 14 children.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, July 14, at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of the Mountains Church. Burial will be in Our Lady of the Mountains Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be held Wednesday, July 13, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Furber and White Funeral Home in North Conway, N.H.
