Mary Olive TESSIER (née Piché)

 With sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Olive at New Orchard Lodge on Monday, September 27, 2021 at the age of 95 years. Beloved wife of the late Jean Louis Tessier. Loving mother of Jean (Maria), Jacques (Allison) and Denis (Kelly). Cherished Grand-maman of Marc (Eva), Stephanie (Jeff) and Melanie (Matt). Beloved Great-Grand-maman of Phoenix. Predeceased by her father Pierre Piché (1972); her mother May Devine (1929) and by her siblings Edgar (Gertrude) Piché, Esther (Ernest) Black and René (Jeannine) Piché. Having lost her mother at a young age, Olive helped her grand-mother Olive Mallette take care of her siblings which instilled in her a strong sense of doing for others before herself. She volunteered time and donated to many charities. The family would like to thank the staff at the New Orchard Lodge for their great care and compassion in her last years. Family and friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home- Carling Chapel, 2313 Carling Avenue (613-828-2313) on Monday, October 4, 2021 from 12noon to 2p.m. Pursuant to maximum capacity limits due to COVID please contact the funeral home to register your visit.
