Margaret TACEY (née Kraft)

Margaret 'Peg' Tacey

Peg gained her Angel Wings on Wednesday, January 13, 2021. She was born March 28, 1958 to Joseph and Emily Krafft in Midland, MI, where she has resided her entire life. On August 26, 1983 Peg married the Love of her life, Gerard Tacey. She attended Midland High School and later continued her studies at Northwood University, where she was also employed for 15 years. Peg made many friends while there and enjoyed working with the students. She was loved by everyone she met, and Peg loved them even more in return, always putting others before herself. She found happiness in knitting/crocheting, vacationing in Lake City and Cedarville, and giving everyone a nickname, but most of all, her children and grandchildren.
Peg is survived by her husband of 37 years, Gerard and her two children, Josh Tacey and Sarah (Trevor) Reisinger. She was blessed with seven grandchildren, Brooklyn Tacey, Korbin and Maria Toner, Rylee, James, Abrina and Kamdyn Reisinger. Peg's family was everything to her and she will be dearly missed by them.
She grew up with eight brothers and sisters, Charlie (Lori) Krafft, Doug (Shirley) Krafft, Jeffery (Marcia) Krafft, Jeanette (George) Wilkins, Lucy Patton, Lori (Brian) Kassin and Julie (Jay) Letts. Peg also had many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. She was predeceased by her parents as well as her brother Joseph "Buck" Krafft Jr.
Visitation for Peg will take place from 12 noon until 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Ware-Smith-Woolever Funeral Home, 1200 West Wheeler Street. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the donor's favorite charity.
