Dickson LAVIGNE

Surrounded by his family, which was his whole world, Dickson Lavigne joined the ranks of the angels on Saturday April 17, 2021. He was 57 years of age. Predeceased by his parents Hubert & Odile Lavigne. Cherished uncle of Andy and Christine Lair (who he called 'Dad' and 'Mom'). Great-uncle to Krystal Nagy (Rob), Ashley Lalonde (Corey) and Anthony Lair (Krystin). Cherished brother of Bert Lavigne (Lynn), Robert Lavigne (Carol) and Irene Discher (Terry). Predeceased by his sister Dorothy Lair. He will be loved and missed by his extended family and many friends.

Dickson lived life with the challenge of Down Syndrome. His challenge became his greatest gift because he taught us all the gift of loving without conditions. He was misdirected at a young age by Andy Lair and his brother Bert Lavigne and became a big fan of the Montreal Canadians. Dickie loved to play video games and hang out with his family. He always got excited about his next trip to Jamaica and looked forward to hanging out at a poolside bar with the pretty girls!

A heartfelt thank you to his physicians, PSW Team and niece Karen Tibbett for going above and beyond to make Dickson as comfortable as possible in the final days of his journey
