Elizabeth was a member of the Citizen Potawatomi tribe, with a blood degree of 1/2, IAW BIA sources. A ref to ECB's baptism is found in Garraghan's "Jesuits of the Middle United States" section on Council Bluffs Mission, p 443. Her Baptismal record is in the handwriting of Father Peter John DeSmet. Elizabeth's Kansas indian allotment was Sec 27/9s/10e, and her Okla indian allotment was #532, Sec 16/10/3, SW 80, W SE 40, SW 40, total 160A. near Bethel. (NE corner of Gaddy & Lake Road). Listed on 1887 cpn allottee # 532 as Catherine Plomoudon. A supplemental stone was added in 2011 by the generosity of Alice Viola Whisenant Davis (Greatgrandchild)and the Whisenant heirs.
