John TACEYwas born on September 17, 1939 and passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2017.
John was a resident of Essexville, Michigan at the time of passing.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, September 29, 2017 at 11:00 am at St. Jude Thaddeus Parish-St. John's Church, 619 Main Street, Essexville. Fr. Dale Orlik will celebrate Mass and inurnment will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery. No visitation hours will be at Ambrose Funeral Home, however, friends may call at the church on Friday from 10:00 am until the time of Mass.
Survived By: Mr. Tacey is survived by his three children: Patricia A. Tacey, Kevin J. Tacey and Aileen M. (David) Hecht, two grandsons, Ian D. and Eli J. Hecht, five siblings: Michael P. Tacey, Larry D. (Margaret) Tacey, Kathleen A. LeCronier, Dennis R. (Janine) Tacey and Vernell R. (Cindy) Tacey, three brothers in-law: John Martin, Joseph Yarabek and Chris (Kay) Kabacinski, many nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by three sisters: Constance T. Martin, Marilyn (Joseph) Burke and Christine R. Yarabek.
Affiliations: John worked in the construction and was employed with Gary Hugo & Sons until his retirement in 2003. He was a member of St. Jude Thaddeus Parish-St. John's Church, 3rd Degree Brother Knight of the Knights of Columbus Council #2740 in Essexville and a 4th Degree Sir Knight of the John F. Kennedy Assembly #503 also in Essexville. John enjoyed playing cards, fishing, reading and calling bingo numbers at the council.
