Carl TACEY

TACEY, CARL W. Essexville, Michigan Carl William Tacey, our fun loving husband, father and loyal friend died unexpectedly Thursday, June 8, 2017. Age 66 years, he was born to Bernard "Spark" and Blanche (Weishuhn) Tacey on April 14, 1951 in Bay City and resided in Essexville all his life. Carl was a graduate of Essexville Garber High School, class of 1969. His working career began in the family business, Tacey Brothers Market and he has spent the last thirty years in wine sales for Viviano Wine Importers/Great Lakes Wine & Spirits. He was a member of St. Jude Thaddeus Parish (St. John the Evangelist Church), Essexville, and the Essexville-Hampton Lions Club. Carl was one of a kind. He was known for his quick wit, sense of humor, and had the personality to light up the room. Carl volunteered his time for many years with Green Hut Charities and enjoyed cooking and having weekly wine club with friends. He was an avid fan of Notre Dame. On October 12, 1972, Carl was united in marriage to Cathy Wojciechowski and they shared their lives together for over forty-four years.
