Songe encor que la terre aux si beaux paysages
Où tu baignes d’azur tes yeux émerveillés,
Oui, songe que, depuis des ans multipliés,
Le sol est plein de morts qui n’ont plus de visages.
Pourtant, ils sont venus au cours pressé des âges
Dans ces bois qui jadis leur furent familiers,
Et rien, au pied moussu des arbres effeuillés,
N’a retenu les noms et marqué les passages.

«Annette traveled to the United States in her early 20's in search of warmer climate and to make a career for herself, which she accomplished, as a Cosmetician on Worth Avenue in Palm Beach during the 1950's and 1960's working as a Makeup Artist to celebrities and the rich and famous and traveling the world. In recent years, she resided in Plantation and thrived in her community, actively donating her time in her church and local charities and where she worked as a home health care giver, up until she officially retired at the age of 80.
