Born February 11, 1946, in Lowell, he was a son of the late Valmore A. "Jigger" Tessier and the late Beatrice F. (Brodeur) Tessier, and attended the local schools.
He resided in Lower Belvidere, and he was employed as a Union Laborer for Local 429 where he worked in construction his entire life. Val loved and owned many horses during his life, he even won a few small purses. He was an avid Boston Red Sox and Patriots fan.
