Janet Rae YOUNG (1946-2013)

«...Janet Rae Tacey, 66, of Hampton Twp., our caring, compassionate and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend was born into eternal life on the morning of Friday, July 26, 2013 at McLaren Bay Region with her family by her side.  At a wedding, Jan would go on to meet Virgil TACEY, Jr. They dated, fell in love and were united in marriage on August 14, 1965 in St. John the Evangelist Church.   A devoted servant of the Lord, Jan was very active with St. John's, where she dedicated countless hours with the funeral luncheon teams, as well as the Ladies Altar Society. Dedicated to the community, Jan was a member and Past President of the Knights of Columbus, Fr. Van Rooy Council #2740 Ladies Auxiliary, the Eagles #1010 Ladies Auxiliary, past 4-H leader and council member, along with many other organizations. She enjoyed camping, horses and spending winters in Florida. As a woman who would help anyone in need, Jan's memory will live on for generations to come...»  www.skorupskis.com
