TESSIER, Pierre Raymond Joseph - December 22, 1943 – February 22, 2012 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Peter (Pierre) Tessier peacefully in his home surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his parents, René Tessier and Juliette Tessier (née Boyer), his sisters, Thérèse Fortier, Florence Tessier, Jeannine Tessier, Noëlla Piché and Françoise Tessier-Borkowski, his brothers, Maurice, Albert and Marcel and brothers-in-law, Clifford Fortier and Donald Séguin. He is survived by his loving wife, Gilberte (Gib) (née Bélanger), his two daughters, Joëlle Hotte (Pierre) and Lynne Kinuthia (John), his grandchildren, Sophie and Brianne Hotte, Isaac and Paul Kinuthia, Rachel, Eric and Paul Grolman, his sisters, Claire St-Cyr (Claude), Estelle Vaillancourt (Gilles) and Ghislaine Lefebvre (Claude), his brothers, Michel (Shirley) and Denis (Wendy), his brother-in-law, Maurice Piché and sisters-in- law, Helen Tessier and Ruth Reid (Pat). From the Bélanger family, he will be missed by his sisters-in-law, Denyse Séguin (Roger), Jacqueline Lapierre (Raymond), Louise Wall (Royce), Irene Nadon (Danny) and his brothers-in-law, Jean (Gaëtanne), Denis (Joan), Gilles (Rollande-deceased), Gérald (Nicole) along with many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Peter will be remembered by all for his woodworking skills, his love of snow, a man who could present with a gruff disposition but had a loving heart and a great smile, “the friendly guy“. Donations in Peter's name to the charity of your choice or to Dr. Andrews' Cardiac Rehab club would be greatly appreciated by the family (cheques only).
