«Olive T. (Ouellette) Tessier, 87, of Hudson, widow of Norman Tessier, died at her home, Wednesday morning, August 6, 2014 after a long illness. A daughter of the late William and Raymonde (LaRoche) Ouellette, she was born in Nashua on March 9, 1927. Olive was educated in local schools and was a graduate of Nashua High School. Olive began her career as General Manager of the former Palm Dress Manufacturing Company in Nashua, then was an Assistant Manager of Lowell Dress and later worked for Helmet Helpers for ten years until her retirement. A resident of Hudson since the mid 1940s, Mrs. Tessier was a communicant of St. John The Evangelist Church. In her leisure time, she enjoyed playing cards and bingo with the Hudson Seniors. Olive also enjoyed crocheting and knitting. In addition to her parents, Olive was predeceased by her husband Norman who died in 1985; her daughter Delaine (Tessier) Houle in 1991...»

À Vancouver, le 17 décembre 2013, à l’âge de 51 ans, est décédé M. Gérard Tessier fils de Gilles Tessier et Evelyne Haineault. Autrefois résidant de Melocheville.

Outre ses parents, il laisse dans le deuil sa fille Tamara, sa petite-fille Zoé, son frère et ses sœurs :  Gaétan Tessier, Lucie Tessier, Lise Tessier, Louise Tessier, Sylvie Primeau, Micheline Primeau, Raymonde Primeau.  Il était le frère de feu Daniel Tessier et de feu Marise Primeau.  Il laisse également ses beaux-frères et belles-sœurs, ses neveux et nièces, cousins et cousines de même qu’autres parents et ses amis.

Ontario Provincial Police have released the identity of a woman who died last weekend near Renfrew while attempting to rescue a fallen friend.
Amanda Tessier, 24, of Gatineau died when she fell about 10 metres down an embankment at around 2 a.m. Sunday. Police said a 20-year-old Aylmer man was injured when he fell down the embankment and used a cellphone to call his friends for help.
Tessier was one of those who came to rescue him. The man was admitted to hospital with internal injuries but survived. The seven friends, all from Gatineau and Aylmer, were on a camping trip near Renfrew, police said.
Tessier had a six-year-old daughter, Kyra, and a seven-month-old son, Nikolai, according to an obituary posted on the website of an Aylmer funeral home.
A trust fund was set up for the children. The description for the fund noted that Tessier died while coming to the rescue of a friend and said: “Amanda truly was an angel on earth.”
