La famille Chabot a le regret de vous annoncer le décès de M. Achille Chabot décédé à l’Hôpital Montfort le lundi 19 mars 2012, à l’âge de 91 ans. Il était le fils de feu Ferdinand Chabot et de feu Anna Barbeau. Il était l’époux bien-aimé de feu Simone Chabot née tessier. Il laisse dans le deuil ses chers enfants : Richard, Robert (Carole Tremblay), Aline (Stanley Dirks), Denis (Lyne Légaré) et Marc; ses petits-enfants adorés : Annie, Jennifer, Valérie, Justin et Stéphanie, ainsi que ses arrière-petits-enfants : Andréanne, Mélissa et Taylor. Il laisse également plusieurs neveux et nièces. Il fut prédécédé par sa soeur et ses frères. Marie is lovingly survived by her two sons: Raymond (Dianne) Tessier of Busby, AB, Normand (Linda) Tessier of St. Albert, AB; three daughters: Claudette (Lorne) Reid of Edmonton, AB, Marcella (Tom) Ouzas of Blind Bay, BC, Paulette (Andy) Willis of Millet, AB; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; two sisters: Anita Duckett of Cold Lake, AB, Carmen (Gerard) Maisonneuve of Edmonton, AB; sister-in-law: Stella Marcotte of Bonnyville, AB. Marie was predeceased by her husband: Charles Tessier; daughter: Jeanine Tessier; three brothers: Jean Marcotte, Clement Marcotte, Guy Marcotte; two sisters: Françoise Gagnon, Georgette Marcotte; grandson: Jason Urlacher; parents: Aime & Ernestine Marcotte.

Mass of Christian Burial was held on Friday, December 30, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Louis Roman Catholic Church, Bonnyville, Alberta with Father Rene Realuyo as celebrant. Interment followed at St. Louis Roman Catholic Cemetery, Bonnyville, AB. Pallbearers were Marie’s grandsons: Richard Urlacher, Joe Dolling, Eric Breitenstein, Tyson Breitenstein, Lorne Tessier, Jamie Miron.

Peacefully, at the Perley and Rideau Veterans' Home at the age of 89 year. Beloved husband for 64 years to Thérèse (née Tessier). Loving father of John (Lise Coderre) and Lorraine (Pierre Dumoulin). Proud grandfather of Léo (Sophie) Lacoste, Marie-Thérèse (Luke Humenuk) and Eric Dumoulin. Great grandfather of Alex, Ilyana and Maksim. Lucien enlisted in the Canadian Army-Canadian Forestry Corps, January 23, 1940 and was discharged from service on October 23, 1945 to return to civil life on demobilization. He retired from Bell Canada (Frameman) after serving 38 years on June 18, 1982. The Dumoulin/Lacoste family would like to take this opportunity to thank the staff of the Perley and Rideau Veterans' Home-O2 East for their care and dignity you provided to our father. Peter Tessier 1967-2012

Peter R. Tessier, 45, of Eaton, passed away on March 3, 2012. Almost a month prior to his death Pete was diagnosed with Stage 3 pancreatic cancer.

He was born in Salem, Mass. on Jan. 28, 1967, the son of Robert and Rita Tessier. Throughout the valley, Pete was known for having many different occupations including the store manager at 711, maintenance at the Wentworth Hotel and the Stonehurst Manor and most recently the snowmaking supervisor at Cranmore Mountain. He also partnered with the Ghoullog in the fall. You could always find Pete outdoors. He enjoyed swimming, hiking, skiing and fishing, and almost any other outdoor activity you could find. He loved to skydive and had every intention of going again. He loved animals and they have always played a major role in his life.

The family includes his wife, Sheryl A. Doucet, of Eaton; a daughter, Lillian I. Tessier, of Conway; a stepdaughter, Morgan D. Doucet, and a stepson Connor K. Doucet, both of Eaton; his parent, Robert and Rita Tessier, of Madison; a brother, Paul A. Tessier, of Fort Collins, Colo.; two sisters, Christine A. Hobbs, of Saugus, Mass., and Patricia A. Quint, of Lincoln, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday, March 8, at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Mountains Church in North Conway. Visiting hours will be Wednesday, March 7, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Furber and White Funeral Home in North Conway.
