TESSIER, Françoise (née Daigneault) 1924-2011 À Brossard, le 19 janvier 2011, à l'âge de 86 ans, s'est éteinte Madame Françoise Daigneault Tessier, épouse de feu Hector Tessier. Elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants Claire, Francine, Sylvie, Alain Céline et Anne-Marie, ses petits-enfants ainsi que ses arrière-petits-enfants, ses frères et soeurs, ainsi qu'autres parents et amis. Elle sera exposée au complexe funéraire: le lundi 24 janvier 2011 de 14 à 17 heures et de 19 à 22 heures, et le mardi 25 janvier dès 9 heures. McKAY/BEAUCHAMP, Ramona (nee Lavigne) It is with great sadness and love that the family of Romona McKay/Beauchamp (nee Lavigne), announce her passing on Sunday, January 9, 2011, at the age of 70. Ramona died peacefully, at home, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of James McKay and predeceased husband Roger Beauchamp. Loving mother to Debby Maheu (Jean-Marc) and son Danny Beauchamp (Judy). Proud, cherished and very actively involved Nana to Gary, Ryan, Julie, Samantha and Emilee. Stepdaughter Laurie (Greg) Singleton, children Devin, Kyle, and Brendan, stepson David McKay (Liz) child Grace, and stepson Peter McKay. Dear sister of Lillian (late Andrew), Lynn (Robert), Theresa (late Albert), Pauline (Robert), Omer (Cecile), Kenneth (Marianne) and Henry (Rachel). She was predeceased by her parents Godfrey Lavigne and Annie (Dufresne), sisters Alda (late Rod) and Pauline and brothers Billy (Val), Hector (Jeannine), Charlie, Steve and Eugene. She will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and 'special' friends. She worked at Sears, in Sudbury, for 25 years. Her love and dedication to her family was endless and will always be alive in the hearts and memories of many. She will be missed so very much. For those she surrounded, her quick wit, kindness, selflessness, giving of herself, honesty, enjoyment for family and life to the fullest attitude will never be forgotten. Friends are welcome to join the family for a funeral service and gathering, at Annunciation of the Lord Parish, 2414 Ogilvie Rd. in Ottawa on Thursday, January 13th at 11:00. Another funeral service and gathering will be held at St. Andrew the Apostle, in Sudbury.

Madeleine TESSIER (née Trottier)

TROTTIER, Madeleine 1918-2010 À Montréal, le 29 décembre 2010, à l'âge de 92 ans, est décédée Madeleine Trottier, épouse en premières noces de feu Victor Laflame et en secondes noces de Laurier Tessier. Elle était la mère de: André, Francine (Alfred Leblanc), feu Lise (feu Raymond Baillargeon), feu Micheline (Richard Mc Duff) et feu Gilles. Elle laisse également ses six petits-enfants et sept arrière-petits-enfants, parents et amis. La famille vous accueillera au salon: (angle Roland) le vendredi 7 janvier 2011 de 14h à 17h et de 19h à 22h. Une liturgie de la Parole aura lieu à 20h, au salon.

Raymond TESSIER

Raymond "Gene" Tessier, 93, of 62 Oak Street, East Hartford, loving husband of the late Margaret Ann (DiNardo) Tessier, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Monday (February 9, 2009) at the Glastonbury Health Care Center.


Born in Woonsocket, RI on September 10, 1915, a son of the late Albert and Ida (Gaboury) Tessier, he had resided in Glastonbury for many years prior to moving to East Hartford in 1953.


Prior to his retirement, Gene was employed for 37 years by Pratt & Whitney Aircraft, East Hartford in the Production Test Department, retiring as a General Foreman. Although Gene was a quiet individual, he enjoyed working on automobiles and being a "handy-man" of all kinds, who loved his family and helping others. Gene and his late wife, Margaret, enjoyed many years together at their homes in Guilford, NH and Punta Gorda, FL. Gene will be missed by all who knew him.


Besides his beloved wife and parents, Gene was predeceased by a son and daughter-in-law, Robert A. and Maryann (LaPenta) Tessier of East Hartford; a brother Alfred "Fred" Tessier of Enfield; a sister Lillian Tessier of East Hartford; and a brother-in-law Paul Franklin of East Hartford. Gene is survived by a son Harold E. Tessier and his wife Lyla of Port St. Lucie, FL; two daughters, Janet Cardarelli and her husband Richard of Framingham, MA, Jeanne Shellington and her husband James of Glastonbury; two sisters, Claire Franklin and Doris Tessier, both of East Hartford; a sister-in-law Jenny Tessier of Enfield; seven special grandchildren; five adored great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.


Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 13 at 11 a.m. at the D'ESOPO-East Hartford Memorial Chapel, 30 Carter Street, East Hartford.
Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hebron Avenue, Glastonbury.
Relatives and friends may call at the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday morning from 10-11 a.m.

Rosaire Tessier 1934-2010

ROSAIRE TESSIER décédé le 22 décembre 2010, à l’âge de 76 ans. Il était l’époux de Jeanne d’Arc Pilon et le fils de feu Napoléon Tessier et de feu Valentine Bélanger. Il fut prédécédé par son fils François. Outre son épouse, il laisse dans le deuil ses enfants: Bernadette (François Chainé), Roger (Sylvie Malo), Marie (Roger Paradis) et Brigitte (Gilles Plouffe); ses petits-enfants: Isabelle, Anik, Cédric, Alexandre, Amélie, Maxime, Fabrice et Olivier. Il laisse également ses frères et soeurs: Robert, Léon, Gaétan, Réjeanne, Colette et Micheline; ses beaux-frères et belles-soeurs ainsi que plusieurs neveux, nièces, cousin(e)s et ami(e)s, tout particulièrement Monique Cyr et Gabrielle (Gaby) Parent. Il fut prédécédé par ses soeurs: Rita et Madeleine. Le service religieux aura lieu en l’église Sainte-Maria-Goretti située au 664 rue Duberger à Gatineau le samedi 8 janvier 2011 à 11h. Un remerciement spécial au Dr Dallaire ainsi qu’au personnel du service d’oncologie, du 6e Nord et du 5e Nord de l’hôpital de Gatineau. Dalton TESSIER

Dalton Tessier (1915-2006)

MISSOULA - Dalton D. Tessier Sr., 91, of Missoula, died of natural causes at a Missoula nursing home on Dec. 26, 2006.

Survivors include his wife of 72 years, Elsie May Tessier of Great Falls; daughter, Mary (Charles) Perkins of Great Falls; sons, Dalton (Deanna) Tessier Jr. of Missoula and Dan (Sandra) Tessier of Colorado Springs, Colo.; sisters, Cary Dunbar of Hamilton and Margaret Fleck and Lelah Allen, both of Scappoose, Ore.; brother, Harley (Marlys) Tessier of Wasilla, Alaska; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by two daughters.

Dalton is third-generation Montanan born in Dillon and raised in Sula. He attended school in Sula.

He married Elsie May Wetzsteon and raised a family in Sula, where they operated a ranch and hunting guide service until 1961 when they moved to Hamilton. He retired from the Bitterroot National Forest road crew in 1980. Dalton received the "Farmer of the Year" Award in Ravalli County and he was also involved in Bagdad Shrine Temple, Masonic Lodge and BPOE Lodge.

A memorial service will be held in the spring with the ashes to be spread in the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness, where he and Elsie spent many enjoyable days.
